It’s been a year tax great success, experienced by Electronic Arts. The company is a manufacturer and distributor of video games has in fact closed the year with net revenue equal to $5.5 billionin the ascent compared to the $4,95 billion in the previous year.
Of this figure, well $4.3 billion were collected with digital sales and transactions in-game. We talk about a figure of $1.5 billion with regard to operating income in the twelve months. A result which, as we have seen, was dragged by the achievements of the FIFA 20 and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderto which are alongside those of Apex Legendsalways very popular and highly downloaded by the players.
On the occasion of the publication of its results, EA has also confirmed that both FIFA 21, Madden NFL 21, are still expected for the second quarter of the new fiscal yearbetween June and September – then in the normal launch window.
That’s not all: for the future the company has in the pipeline:
- Another game of EA Sports not announced
- Another game in high definition is not announced
- Four games made in collaboration with EA partner
- Two mobile games soft-launch.
There remain, of course, define the identity of these securities, which, as in the case of all others may be subject to change with the advance or receding of the emergency COVID-19.
Moreover, the company has also made it known to have the “multiple outputs” on arrival on the Nintendo Switchto demonstrate that, in the future, want to invest more on the nearly 60 million installed base of the console hybrid.
