Nintendo Switch, the new update addresses an issue related to credit cards
June 5, 2020
Nintendo has made available a new system update for Nintendo Switch that brings the firmware to version 10.0.4.
As let guess the same number, this time it is an update minor that it only “optimize the overall stability of the console to improve the user experience“ but also fixes a problem that made it impossible in some countries or regions add funds using a new credit card, or record the information on the Nintendo eShop.
The previous major update had introduced a number of new interesting features, like the ability to save up to 300 favorite news, notwithstanding the fact that it will be necessary, however an Internet connection to view them, and you will not be able to see those are no longer available, even if saved in your personal list. In addition, users can transfer the downloaded software, updates, and DLC from system memory to the microSD card (and vice versa). It is also allowed to remap the buttons of the Joy-With and Pro Controller, saving your own personal configuration (up to a maximum of five).
Last month, the applications of the SNES – Nintendo Switch Online and SNES – Nintendo Switch Online have been updated by adding several new free titles to their catalogs.
The last important title first party released for the console, and the hybrid of the big N, Xenoblade Chronicles: the Definitive Edition, which is available since last may 29, apparently has been a great success both in Japan and in the United Kingdom.
